Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Home Inspector to join our team. As a Home Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential and at times commercial properties to assess their condition and identify any potential issues. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in providing accurate and reliable inspection reports. Please note this is a commission-based position and pay.

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for conducting home and building inspections, completing electronic reports, and providing excellent customer service. In addition to these inspections we would require candidates to perform additional ancillary services. Must be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, crawlspaces, attics & roofs.

Experience

• Experience in home inspection or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects.
• Strong analytical skills to assess the condition of properties accurately.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients, agents, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications & Abilities

• Ohio Home Inspector License
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Oral Communication Skills – Strong Written Communication Skills
• Proficient use of PC and/or laptop, internet, e-mail and camera
• Professionalism
• Strong mechanical attitude
• Desire for professional development: continuing education is a yearly requirement. Our team learns new skills and acquires new certificates/licensing on a regular basis. We’re seeking a team member who fits our culture of personal and professional development.

Candidates are required to have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle suitable for home inspection equipment, current automobile insurance, a good driving record. Company will provide cell phone to work from. A full criminal background check is required for employment. We provide flexible scheduling, software, E&O insurance, and all back office support.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
